The ZOLL AED Plus uses a set of 10 consumer-grade Type 123 lithium batteries (Duracell Lithium 123). These batteries have a roughly 5-year standby life when installed, or a 10-year total shelf life if unused. It is critical to replace all 10 batteries at once and press the reset button inside the compartment when prompted.
